    If I just added the Vortech Power Cooler and didn't do a pulley swap, would that give me the same power just less boost due to the cooler air? I assume less boost due to having to push the air through the cooler.:shrug: Just trying to make it safer.....

    Anybody using Earl's Perform-O-Flex hose for fuel line?

    Is Earl's Perform-O-Flex hose okay to use for a fuel line? They have some disclaimer that not all fuels are compatible, but some are.... But then they say in their description that it can be used for fuel.....:shrug:

    Vortech installation problem

    I was thinking the Vortech kit came with a different nut and bolt... Is it possible to get a shorter bolt? Mine is very close, but it doesn't touch.

    I just did this install but didn't run into that problem.:shrug: Is the lower intake and water neck housing orginal Ford parts? I had heard that some water neck housings from the aftermarket can cause cleareance problems, but haven't heard anything on a Vortech install though. Sorry not...

    Does the white smoke happen to have a "blue" tint to it? If so, I would say valve stem seals, especially if it does it at start up. Not sure about the mis-fire though???

    Yes, you were right on the money....:nice: I wasn't sure how well the heads were going to work out, as alot of people don't think they flow real well, but I am happy.... The intercooler and pulley is more of a fun thought....I can't see how I would be able to use the extra power on the...

    Thanks for the compliments guys.... Dan & Rob (the tuners) said if I were to add an intercooler and drop the pulley down two sizes that it would be real close to 500rwhp. So the next phase begins.......:D

    Just got back from Pro-Dyno in Fort Mill SC. I would highly recommend Dan and Rob to anyone. It is well worth the drive. Great guys to deal with. What do you guys think?...431RWHP and 424RWTQ all with the stock cam at 11 pounds of boost. My mods are in the sig.

    I am mounting my new MSD 6-AL2 box and notice the instructions say not not use "Solid Core" spark plug wires. I have the Ford Racing wires. I thought that I had read some where that the Ford Racing wires were "Solid Core". Can any confirm this? Thanks

    What is the rule of thumb for drivetrain loss when calculating flywheel hp with a manual? I had heard 15%. Is this about right?
