    i was just in the same situation you are in. The dealership wants $10 a piece for the top 2 bolts, too rich for my blood, i said screw it and went to a nutt and bolt place, bought a 3 foot 5/16" - 18 bolt and cut it myself and used nutts on each end. worked great, well see how well it holds...

    thanks for the help, but its really hard to read that damn dipstick i just wanted to know about how much fluid these hold just to be sure. im guessing its half a quart.

    are those longtubes? is that on a dynojet? sounds like your making some great numbers with stock heads :nice: my buddy put stage 2 heads and that cam on his SS, everything else stock(besides a lid) he made 350rwhp, stock he made 290rwhp, we just put longtubes on, man did that open her up :nice:

    or is there somewhere i can get smaller stud bolts if i have to drill them out? i dont feel like redoing the threads and having a problem later, if i really have to ill remove the timing cover and buy a new one which would be tedious and dumb.

    maybe fuel pump :shrug: is it a stock pump(it doesnt say in your sig)? i would also check timing and your codes. vibration could also be fuel or ignition related, im doubting the driveshaft being the culprit since you never said it did it before the new motor. good luck with the gremlin:)
