    Tires?

    I have Bridgestone Potenza RE960 Pole Positions and i think theyre pretty good. I go in the snow, sleet, rain, etc...The dry traction is comparable to what i had with the old KDWSs, but wet weather is better. Id buy KDWSs or KDWs again though. I think they were about $200/tire.

    I have broken 30 mpg many times in my 5.0.......But It doesnt do it consistently. Consistent mileage on the highway is 25ish. Those are summertime numbers for me. Winter drops that down quite a bit.

    the clutch doesnt grab the rear wheels, it grabs the flywheel. So if youre making around 500 fwhp, you should buy the clutch according to that. Now, since youve implied that you have a manual transmission, figure roughly 15% driveline loss. +/- 2%.
