    IAC stands for Idle Air Control so restricting it will mean less air is introduced at times and may = richer mixture. I imagine the computer will try yo compensate by opening the valve more to regulate the idle. Personally I'd just clean or replace the IAC to correct the problem.

    Have you tried cranking the volume up as mentioned above? My 99 did the same thing but you could turn it up loud and amps would kick in then you could lower the volume where you want and they would stay on. I never looked into fixing it and now it just gets raced I have radio and ac removed.

    Next thing to do is pull the mid pipe off and shake it. If it rattles get a long rod, screwdriver or whatever and beat the stuffins out of it. Do both sides if you take this route.

    Dealers do not have to accept x-plan. I called a couple that refused it. I decided to wait anyway till they come out with the 18x9 wheel option, bugs worked out, and dealers are more agreeable to deal.
