    I would take that 160 out, if your car is not under boost, there is no need for it. The lowest I would do is a 180 but that is about it. Other than that start small and clean your maf, and reset the battery.

    I read it on here a long time ago what it was for but I do not recall. But, yeah when you reset the battery it relearns everything so I guess since you didn't reset like you said, the computer learned the hard way? maybe.

    I haven't replaced mine yet, but does it need to be torque down to the plenum? Maybe that is why you hearing a "tick" sound because its not on tight enough? Does it atleast idle where it suppose to be?

    Its a balancing act between mpg, power, and staying somewhat legal. I would go stage 2 but I would be tossing everything else out the door.

    steering play in center

    I always wanted to resolve this issue, in my case, my steering wheel feels rubbery when the car is warm after long drives, and has tiny bit of play moving the steering wheel to left or right. Everything esle is solid.
