    Why would a chip be better for adjusting timing.....it's not adjustable then. You bump it and you're stuck. If you live anywhere with differing climates, then you would want to go higher in the colder months and a little lower in the summer....my .02

    I think Gene Evans Ford will sells them for like $20-25 bucks...can't remember. Call and talk to Sam...www.gefracing.com Also, www.stangparts.com probably has a few...big Stang salvage facility. If not, any 94-98 (maybe more) Mustang vert has the same switch...call the junkyards.

    Will a center console from a 03 Cobra fit my 96?

    The 98 center console has cup holders instead of the flip ashtray! If you have a pro 5.0 shifter / handle, you can put as big a drink in the front holder as you wish. Also, go to Starbucks....get a couple of the coffee covers that they put on to keep you from burning yourself. These work...

    how do you get an Oasis report?

    I used to work for a Lincoln/Merc dealer. It's a stand-alone computer that talks directly to the Oasis central computer. All they have to do is imput the VIN and the report comes back. They shouldn't charge you since there's nothing to it.

    Cobra alarm

    Put your key in the drivers's door lock and turn. This will turn the factory alarm off. I put an aftermarket alarm in with starter kill, etc. I wanted a paging alarm and remote start.

    problem

    When I bought my Cobra, I had a chip, 30# inj's, C&L mass air and a relocated air pump. I found all this out when I did my first oil change and found the pan tapped.
