    I am a noob!

Am I wrong in asuming eastern Canada? We have lots of good mustangs in the lower mainland to choose from as well as lots south of the border in the Seattle area but they are a little more in cost. I think my next one will be a 65 fastback a-code and I just happened to find one that sat in a...

http://www.canadianmustang.com/store.mv?p=803183 According to what they say, 67-68 are the same. I'd be interested to know as I have a 68 vinyl top that will be getting replaced soon. Scott

    Floor Pans

Got the interior out on the Nugget and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I will need front pans and torque boxes as I originally expected, plus the sub frames under the pans. The good news is the frame rail. It looked like the drivers side was rusted through from underneath but it's in great...

I cringe when I hear the words "stump" and "oil pan" together, reminds me of to many off-roading issues.

    Your Engine Compartment!!!

I have a quick question regarding engine color. I bought the Light Blue engine enamel from Canadian mustang as they said it was used in most cars up to 73. When I hold it up to my engine, it looks wrong. My engine looks like it's a darker blue, which they sell as well. I would hate to use...

    MIG Welder

Thanks all, I ended up with a Licoln WeldPak 3200HD. It should be enough to do what I need. Listed for 649.00 at home depot, ended up getting it for 400.00. Now I just got to learn how to weld!

    Classic stereo setups?

Depends what you want. http://www.mobilcaraudio.com/catalog/item/1760910/2464952.htm This deck will fit in dash and then you just get a 10 disc changer for you trunk with the fm transmitter for the radio. That way you keep it stock or else you can mount it in you glove box.

    Engine Compartment Light

Thanks for the responses. I looked at the glove box and it is locking and has the light. I didn't check the trunk or under the dash yet, but it looks like it is a factory install. Scott

    Engine Compartment Light

I appear to have a light attached to my hood for the engine compartment. It is a green and yellow wire that runs from the hood to one side of the starter solenoid. Does this make sense to anyone? Was this light even avaliable is 68? Thanks again for all your help. Scott

    Testing Oil Pressure

I know that in automotives we tested oil presure by removing the distributor and running the oil pump with a drill. I am wondering if you can do that with the 289 and if so what is the best set up. Thanks for the information. It's been along time and having a hard time remembering all the...

    MIG Welder

Thanks for the responses. I am only going to go 115v as I will only be using it on this car and don't want to have to pay some one to come and do my welding for me. A lower duty cycle will hopefully make me take my time and not heat things up to much. Mustbereel, I was wondering which unit...

    68 DSO code and option

Thansk for keeping me in the loop. That is going to be a beautiful car when he is finished. I have always had a special place for the mustangs that were exported for some reason, not sure why. I am not sure about the castings, if I get time over the next few days I will see what I can find...
