    Need help fast with tranny swap!!!

    First day off practice at the cirlce track is tomorrow. Everything is ready to go except i have to put the tranny in. Ive taken out the aod in my 85 and need to know if the cable linkage will work with my c-4 or do i need a different one. I think i still have the one from the parts car if it doesnt.

    will 79-93 water pump work on my 289

    so as long as i put on the timing cover off of the 302 i have it should work no problem right. If your wondering i put my 289 in a fox and cant find a hose to work. It would be easier if i could find a hose do you guys know where i could find a hose to work.

    Paint hows it look

    i think its too far along for a trade, but i did put on my emblems today and the hood and hatch pins. Picked up my tires, so when i get my rims within the next two weeks and get my decals next week ill put some more up. can't wait till april 21st for the first practice.

    looks like you need a smaller air cleaner so you can put your hood on. Car looks damn good and i like the carb. fuel injection is too much of a hassle once you start and performance parts. done let anyone tell you anything different.

    changing motor mounts...help

    lol if you need help on how to remove nuts what are you taking an engine out for. lol. Just soke it overnight with wd-40 and take them off in the morning with 1/2 breaker bar. if that doesn't work try heating it up with a torch for a few seconds at a time.

    Terrible vibration from engine

    i would say that the balancer is shot. If it is vibrating that much and is still driving that pretty much eliminates everything else. Go get a new balancer and make sure it is a 50 oz balancer

    actually the bumper cover was a little beat up and had some cracks in it. I didn't think that this car was that rare. It was slow as hell when i drove it home. lol. it took all it had to chirp the tires. I didnt really think anyone would want the cfi stuff.

    yeah im losing the ten holes for bart racing wheels that are getting wrapped with goodyear circle track slicks. As for the strips down the front i wanted to try something different. I kinda messed them up a little bit but if i would have ran them all the way down they would get all messed up...

    I think you might have to change the spindle to 87-93. On my 85 i used ranger rotors on the front, but im not to sure about the 86.     Still milky oil problem

    I agree with them and say that the warped heads are you probablem. Take them to a machince shop and get them shaved. Itll raise your compression ratio though so youll have to run a higher octane, but youll get enough horses out of it to feel a little difference.
