    Lowered Front end

I've got a pair of short springs if you want them, drop me a PM. I didn't realize they were short until after I put them on- what a shock. Really looked mean, though. With everything else stock and 205/60/13s on the front, everything still cleared bumps ok.

    V8 Radiator Shroud Installation

Funny thing is, I really wasn't pushing it hard. I think I may have been more optimistic about its flexibility than I should, but rest assured, no radiators were harmed in this experiment. :D

oh man guys, i wish i lived in colorado...

Generally, I agree, but this yard advertizes itself as having a stash of old mustangs for parts. Then they show you a pic of all the cars piled on top of each other. Doesn't make much sense to me.

oh man guys, i wish i lived in colorado...

Especially if your looking for sunroof parts from one of those poor vehicles on the bottom :D It always amazes me how many cars I see in salvage yards with panels that were perfectly fine until the yard stacked the cars on top of each other and destroyed them or with interiors that were...

    V8 Radiator Shroud Installation

Thanks Cobraman. You'd think Ford could have left an 1/8 inch or so clearance when they were designing the bloody thing.

    V8 Radiator Shroud Installation

After finally receiving my very expensive, but very nice v8 radiator shroud for the Ghia, I raced into the garage and proceeded to break it in two places while trying to squeeze it down between the radiator and the fan. :bang: Some JBWeld, Superglue and 24 hours did a great job of making it...

    4 speed tranny

Do you have the flywheel, bellhousing, etc. from the 76? If so, those parts are worth quite a bit. Sell them and you could buy your t-5.

    Mustang + Ranger = 5 lugs!

In my opinion, the most efficient way to get five lugs is to purchase five lug rotors from a hot rod shop, ebay, or MustangsUnlimited (about $49.00 each) for the front. For the rear, have a machine shop weld and redrill your stock axles for five lug (cost varies- should be less than $100.00)...

    Ghia thoughts.....

Ghias make great daily drivers. Especially if you take the roof of them :D There was another real clean one recently on ebay that I was bidding on, but the guy pulled it off before the end of the auction. It had the sunroof, no rust, v8 and around 60K miles. He had a "buy it now" price of...

    tranny swap

The t5 setup will probably be the cheapest way to go and the easiest to find all the parts. The drawbacks of using the fox parts is that the shifter will sit about an inch forward and you probably won't be able to fit headers around the wider fox bellhousing. The best setup to put a t5 in a...

Who also has a Cobra II

    Got a 77 that I modified into a GT350-like autocrosse car.

    Ok, who did it???

I really hope you guys are talking about hatchback panels- not ghia panels, because I had really good sparkling clean white panels (though not NOS) in my ghia that I chopped up doing my convertible project. It occurs to me now that I should have asked if anyone could have used them and I could...

    tranny swap

I presume the 250 is from something other than a II. Even if the bell does have the same bolt pattern as the 302, I very much doubt it will be the right width to set the tranny and shifter in the right location. If it's from an older 'stang, it probably doesn't use a cable clutch linkage...

    Aarrggghh!!

I don't know if it was Phil or one of you guys, but someone beat me out of a v8 flywheel for $61.00! Talk about markup potential. Does anyone know the fellow from Shell Lake, Wisconsin? I bought a few items from him and have been impressed with the amount of stuff he has. Lots of nos items.
