    yea. i have 255/40 on the car now all the way around. personally i think the 245/45 makes the rim look small for some reason.

    came home to these. there not the best of tires but they will do the job. Sumitumo HTR Z 255/40/17 in front and 275/40/17 in the rear. I have had the old tires since the car was painted a few years ago.

    I love fr500 wheels but IMO the 99-04 body style only lloks right if you have a 18 inch wheel on it. It just looks to small of a wheel with a 17.

    1 1/2 or 2 1/2 inch cowl?

    Installing a 351w with a carb setup. Using convertable mounts and love the stoc k hood. But I have heard it will not fit with a 351w. Looks like my options are a 1 1/2 or a 2 1/2 inch cowl hood. Which one would you go with.

    Mine did this on my 89 4 banger soupe im rebuilding. The pic below is the right side of the steering column, the area with the red circles has metal tabs that hold the plastic plug up to it. They had come a little loose which made the contact between then bad. Tapped them tighter and it works...

    im not concerned with that. plenty of my buddies have gone from throttle body to carbed that wont pass emissions and they dont have any troubles. not trying to sound cocky or anything but its something that im not to cencerned about.

    ok i was at work doing price lookups on random parts for a 351w. Opened up the edelbrock catalog and saw a couple top end kits. Looked up the price just to see and with my discount i can get: Performer RPM Intake Performer RPM cam PErformer RPM Heads Timing chain and gaskets for about $600...
