    Radio/Antenna wires?

Thanks for the tips, Tim. I'm guessing I can get a multimeter at any auto parts store. Speaking of a trunk mounted CD player. How would you go about running the wires to the trunk? What's the most common way (i.e., under carpet, down driver sill)?

    Radio/Antenna wires?

I can't seem to find this power cable with the Y. Ugg. I located a green wire that wasn't connected and a black wire with a female end. The male end that connected to who knows was connected but cut. Does anyone have photos of this molded plastic/rubber "Y"? I'm wonder if the previous owner cut...

    Radio/Antenna wires?

Thanks Tim. My car actually came with a radio but a previous owner removed the speakers and radio. I would like to get a new radio installed but I want to see just how much work must be done and if I can do the work myself. Regie

POR15 trunk project delayed! Need some help!

I spoke with one of the Peel Away sales reps earlier today. They indicated that there isn't anything special about the paper. He stated that I could use plastic like Reynolds to keep the Peel Away moist. I didn't order a gallon of Peel Away. I actually purchased a smaller tub that didn't...

POR15 trunk project delayed! Need some help!

Oh yea, I have a ton of pictures of the entire process right up to the installation of the felt trunk mat that I built. I'm pleased with the mat but hindsight is a monster because I now have 20 other ways to build it. Guess I'll have to by another classic to "get it right."

POR15 trunk project delayed! Need some help!

Svend: Thanks for the feedback. Good idea regarding the Peel Away. I wish I had started with the wheel wells b/c the trunk was such a huge project. I did, however, use the coupe to pick up some groceries and my dry cleaning yesterday. Couldn't do that before b/c the trunk was just NASTY :(...

POR15 trunk project delayed! Need some help!

Conclusion to the project All and all my trunk project was a success! It took me a little longer than I anticipated—mostly because of unexpected complications—but I don’t think my first project could have gone any better. I took Platonic Solid’s advice and used Peel Away 7 to remove the...

My 65 coupe didn't come with a radio and antenna and needless to say, I want tunes! I've looked under the dash and don't see any wires for the radio or antenna. :bang: Can someone tell me what I should be looking for (color, location, etc).

    Trunk project conclusion (POR15 / Peel Away7)

I took a ton of pictures but I don't have a good graphics program installed on this computer. My real workhouse PC is down. I'm working on getting the PC up and running. Fuggin Microsoft...but alas...that's for another message board.

    Taking off underside coating

Sounds like a good idea to me. I might consider it after using the Peel Away 7 and applying the POR15 to my wheel wells. I hope to tackle that project next weekend. I need a break from the trunk project--sore joints and all. :-)

    Taking off underside coating

I don't follow the Home Depot comment?!? How does the 3M Body Shutz look after it's been applied? Can it only be applied with a spray gun?

Guys you can order the Peel Away 7 directly from Dumond Chemical: http://www.dumondchemicals.com/ Someone says that you can also purchase it at local paint stores. I just posted a recap of a recent project with Peel Away 7 and Por15.
