i was thinking about the fuel pump also, i think it has one of those car quest crappers in it that only last like 3 years. anybody make a good performance fuel pump? anybody know the stock flow rate to a hi-po fuel rate pump and what would be a good one to run?? might as well pick a good one...

Today i was driving and the temp ouside was about 95 degrees. Ran fine for about 2 hours and stoped at a gas station. Started the car and it started up and then just wanted to die. IF i let it idle it would barely idle fine, if i steped on the gas it would die. I checked under the hood and it...

    Bad vibrataions!! help me

Trying to find vibrations is tricky, alomost anything can vibrate, motor mounts, engine internals, harmonic balancer, drive train parts-such as clutch, flywheel or automatic parts. Bent drive shaft. Does it happen when driving or when you sitting still?

My new overflow bottle looks huge....pics inside.

the 2 little tabs on the bottom of the tank should fit in 2 little holes (slots) near bottom of radiator. I dont know if you got any hardware or have to use exhisting screws, bolts just to bolt it in. After its bolted in, the black tube (hose) go's to the neck of the radiator cap. You should...

    Clutch/Trans tech ?

yes some cars its possable to switch gears with out using the clutch. but you could risk damaging internal parts in the tranny. clutch cable snaped on me a while back and i had to drive like that about 2 miles :( when i did it I had to get the rpm at least 3500 so it would be easy to pull...

you have to remove the fan shroud, possably the fan itself. bolt the overflow tank to the driverside, near battery, put fan and fanshroud back on. it should fit just fine. :)

you can take it to a shop that does coolant flushes, the machine will always work way better than just a normal drain and fill flush. usualy $60.00 to $100.00

how critical is the mass air meter

I would think if it was disconected it would run horrible and make the check engine light to come on. Say if i unplug mine and start it, it will start but run crappy and a check engine light will come on. I dont think it would cause it to die with in 5 seconds. It might be somthing els, is it...

    Need help with T-56 install

DDperformance.com has a complete T-56 swap (parts) that you would need to complete the install. I think they have conversion parts for the t-56, thats the only site i found unless anybody knows of another.

    fiberglass hood and hatch ?'s

Cervinis Auto Designs has a great fit and finish. Or try Mr.Bodykit.com, Fiberglass products may be half the weight of its steel parts. I think lexan is illigal to use on the street, but you might want to check your local laws just to make sure about that. :)

    Reverse Sucks!

Revers dont have a syncro on it, I think revers and 2nd are linked together. The way revers is set up is its just a 3rd gear set up on a shaft. then a lever on the side of the tranny will push it so it joins 2nd gear. When that revers gear is added the tail end of the tranny will spin the other...

    engine hot after 70 MPH

Not sure, never used one, I still use my original fan shroud that directs the air through the radiator and to the engine. If its cheap it wouldnt hurt to try it. :nice:

ACT sensor, to be or not to be?

I would suggest you keep it or get a replacment. When an act sensor brakes or gets all gummed up it cant measure the incoming air temp properly. You get hessitation and bogging of the car and it could die. I think it sends the temp to the ECM for proper fuel enrichment. It will make the fuel...

    engine hot after 70 MPH

If you have a fan driven by the water pump then at 70mph it should not spin as fast as it would when your cruising in town. You need good airflow to your radiator, make sure there is nothing blocking or obstructing the hols and such on the front end (car bra/billit grill). Do you still have...

    upgrade sway bars or no?

I would bolt/weld MM's full length subframe connectors under it if you realy want to decrease body roll on a budget. also front and rear strut tower braces could also help with your setup. :D yes tires can effect body roll to an extent, say i try to take a hard corner on 15in. rims the side...
