    Happened to me once. My steering box pretty much died, just a few minutes after I got through a trip which maintained 70mph, gave out in a parking garage. If the rag joint is intact, you've got an expensive problem on your hands there:notnice:

    Wheels are aftermarket (Cragars) no power steering nor brakes. I've already located a wrecked 68 and 69, I'm gonna take a peek at those in the morning. If I weren't fixing to move I'd make this an excuse to upgrade to disks :D

    Was your fluid balancer 28 oz or am I just reading it wrong? Spark plugs, wires and distributor all look good btw, has to be somewhere else

    Thanks for the input, it feels like it's firing good but I'll take a look through my plugs just in case. I need to look through the boneyards and see if I can find a balancer in good enough shape for testing purposes.
