The idioms of a real douchebag

Yeah, I would have been reading Mustangs and Fords myself.;) I'm guessing since you're on the boat, you're I level. Wait until you have to deal with O level techs. They're the kind of people that think OFF stands for On Full Force. And don't get me started on those Machinst Mates.:D

    Installing Tranny Cooler, help

I think it depends on the size of the cooler. I ran my cooler in line with the radiator.

    Check this out guys

You really wouldn't be any money ahead. You'd have to get a new tranny and custom exhaust, just to name a couple things. And there's no way you'll be close to smog legal if need be. I wonder how big of a cowl would be needed to fit that motor?

    Throttle body spacers...no good

Did you notice a SOTP difference between the stock and ported plenum?

    Throttle body spacers...no good

I'm a little confused. Did you port the upper plenum or the throttle body itself? I would definitly be interested in all this. I don't want to lose my pony.

    Mustang Tailpipes

The part that is welded to the tailpipe is just a piece of bent steel rod. Either they can cut off the piece on your old pipes or bend a new one up easily.

    Mustang Tailpipes

The mounts are different on the 98's. You can have an exhaust shop weld on the right mounts.

Increasing backlash in the tranny / rear-end?

It sounds like you need to get under the car and find out where the play is coming from. The first thing I would check would be the u-joints on the driveshaft. Then check the rear end for play and then the tranny.

    How loud will this be?

Actually, wrapping them will make them rust faster. The wrapping can trap moisture between it and the header. Spend the extra money on the ceramic coating.

    FRPP 99-04 GT Blower Kit

I like the way it looks. Most people won't even be able to tell you have a supercharger.

    Magnaflow shorty x-pipe

Do you have to cut out the stock H part of the mid-pipe? Or does the X go on after that? If you have to cut out the stock H, then it's not going to be legal.

Just ordered some suspension parts... did I forget anything?

Big O should be able to change everything out with no problem. Do you already have aftermarket control arms? If not, you may want to get a set. The only other thing I can think of would be the front lower control arms. You can get new ones through FRPP I think.

Can you guys please help me on this One

There's going to be some fitting issues. It's just the way the plastic body kits are. The higher quality kits require less fitting then the lower quality.

Trade my GT rear end w/03 Cobra?

I say do it. If someone came to me with that offer I'd want to know what time he wants me at the shop.

    Easiest way to raise compression

You don't have to rebalance the whole assembly if you swap pistons. It's just a good idea to keep things smooth. Does someone make thinner head gaskets for the mod motors? If you don't want to mill that's your next best choice.

I wanna know about Edelbrock IAS Shocks

My buddy has them on his 69 and loves them. It doesn't ride like a Caddy, but it doesn't jar your teeth loose either.

    Auxilary power in center consule

The cig lighter and aux power plug run off the same circuit. Check the fuse for your cig lighter.

    high compression

Going to a higher compression will help, but I think 11.5 is too high for a street motor. You'd have to pull out a lot of timing to run on premium. 10:1 is good for a street motor. I know the guys with the PI swap are running 10.5:1, so don't flame me on that.

    4.6 head swap kit

Look through their site. They have a few kits and might have what you need.

if you needed to replace your motor(in ca)

I'd rebuild it myself with a forged rotating assembly from a company like CHP. But then, I enjoy doing stuff like that.
