    If you have any aftermarket cai I would take it off if you aren't going to use a tune. Contact AM/Bama and ask them to send you a new tune.

    Unless it's a CAI that doesn't require a tune, I would not drive with a CAI and no tune. It would car cause the car to run way too lean and possible go into fail safe mode.

    Ford dealers tend to charge a lot more. A Ford dealer quoted me $700 for labor only. Look for performance shops in your area and ask around which shop(s) they would recommend. Gear install from a speed/performance shop usually runs $250-350.

    I had the metallic substrate cats are preferred over the ceramic substrates for F/I but either one can be used for N/A applications.
