    Got a TSB # for TR3650 Grind!!!!!!

here is my question: I had mine in last october because the 3'rd gear synchros went out and it was grinding all to hell and back every time I shifted into 3rd. It has started grinding just a little bit occasionally from 1-2 and 2-3 again. The car now has 43000 miles on it. Should they fix it...

    Is this a 2001 Engine?

I agree. This guy is full of :bs: . I would make him put my car back together and get it the hell out of there. If he wants to bitch about his labor time, just tell him that he shouldnt have lied in the first place (or at least he should have done his homework if he didnt honestly know...).

    Adjusting TPS

They changed it a few years back so that you cant adjust them. I believe the spec is .98 volts at closed throttle, 4.5 - 5 volts at WOT. I used a Dremel tool to make the holes bigger. They have metal sleeves in them, and I damn near had to remove all of the metal to make the holes big enough...

    TIME FOR NEW TRANNY??

Synchros... No doubt. I had the exact same problem. Mine actually did it at the track. I took it into the dealership the next morning, all mods intact, with the numbers still painted on the windows and got the thing fixed under warrenty. Guess the service writer liked me or something. -...

Uh oh... i might've done a boo boo... master cylinder... help me plz

not if the MC went dry like he said. I had to bleed my MC the last time I did my brakes. I bled all four corners several times with no luck before I realized that there must be air in the MC. (The MC never went dry by the way... never did figure out how air got in there in the first place...)...

    Why 3 cats?

the forward two are not cats, they are "pre-cats". Notice they are small... Supposedly they help the emissions when you first start the engine, while the other four cats are still heating up. The 99+ has 4 cats.

Another for the books: Accufab TB/plenum dyno

I Disagree. I have 3.73's and guess what... they arent all that. I was not impressed with the feel of them at all. I wish I would have saved the money and put it in my supercharger fund. If you are going to do gears, go 410's. Dont fear the gear.

25 mm wheel spacers and bullitt wheels.

yes it is lowered 1.5 inches with the eibach springs. Probably a little lower now after a year and a half due to sag.

25 mm wheel spacers and bullitt wheels.

I have 1" spacers on my bullit wheels with no clearance issues. The studs did not have to be cut. The only issue that I have had is fender rub, which is chewing my rear tires to hell, because I have 275's all around. Other than that though, as long as you are running stock size rubber, there...

    MAC Control Arms?

I have the MAC uppers and lowers and couldnt be more pleased. Ive had no problems at all. The install was a snap, they fit great, performance has been even better than expected. I say for the money, you cant beat them. I have had X2c's before also, and had nothing but problems with them...

What is the difference between DOT 3 & DOT 4 brake fluid?

it seriously is not worth the trouble or expense to change to DOT 4 unless you NEED to. For normal everyday driving, it has little advantage unless you happen to live in the mountains or regularly slam on your brakes for no reason. Also, there is no real "wear and tear" difference between...

What is the difference between DOT 3 & DOT 4 brake fluid?

the short answer is: nothing will happen. The difference between the two is that DOT 4 has a higher boiling point, so you will not be as likely to have your brakes fade due to overheating in racing (open track or auto-x) or mountain driving. if you overheat the fluid and it boils, air bubbles...

    H Pipe or ProChamber

Sorry, but i have to call :bs: on that one. My first modded dyno pull was with only the prochamber, catback, and a tri-ax shifter. I pulled 249.5 RWHP and almost 285 RWTQ with everything else stock. I dont know what planet you are living on, but here on earth the prochamber makes pretty good...
