    Supercharge Auto GT

If you are staying with the stock engine then the trans will be fine. You are limited to about 450-500 rwhp with the stock rods and the trans will hold up to that power level. If you are planning to add a forged shortblock the you will need to make some mods to the trans. The TCI rebuild kit...

    4.10 or 3.73???

Is yours an auto or manual? With a manual I would go with the 4.10's. With an automatic I think the 3.73's are the best gear option. I used to run the 3.73's and they were a great gear for the street and worked well at the track N/A. When I added my turbo setup I went to 3.27 gears to load the...

    Next Mod Choice?

As stated the tuner and a good tune will be your best bang for the buck. You will need a tuner for any further engine performance mods anyway. Earl

no disrespect to this forum, but....

Noobz347, like I said this is a good site and I, for one, really appreciate the lack of advertizing. Some of the other forums, I wont mention which, are now letting adds be posted as sticky's about all sorts of stuff. I am one of those old timers that have owned Mustangs for years. I was on this...

no disrespect to this forum, but....

This forum has some good information but doesn't get a lot of activity. For the S197 the best forum for technical information is the s197forum.com. There is a wealth of knowledge and some really hard core guys on that forum. Just be aware it's not like most of the other forums. It's an adult...

    Need help folks

You need a tune for the C&L intake or it will run lean. Before you take it to a garage I would contact Doug at C&L Performance [email protected] and explain your problem. Doug is a great guy and he can send you some new tunes that should fix you up. Earl

Forced Induction Supercharging My 05 4.6

Personally I think 450 is about the max for the stock bottom end. There have been may guys that haven't had any problems going higher and there have been many guys that blew their stuff up at 450. The tune has everything to do with making the stock engine live with FI. the stock rods will hold...

2012 Mustang 5.0 Rear Axle/Possible front suspension damage from accident?

With the suspension damage you're talking about it can be fixed good as new. What most guys are talking about is when there is major body damage, like the frame and such. That is when the problem of it being the same, after repairs, comes into play. Earl

Forced Induction Supercharging My 05 4.6

The stock bottom end is usually good for about 450rwhp but that is borderline. For getting a forged bottom end, it could run you anywhere from about $4000 to ????. It all depends on the parts you decide on for the build. Earl

Forced Induction Supercharging My 05 4.6

The Magnacharger is a decent investment if you never plan on doing anything else to the car. If you ever want to add more power in the future then there are better options. Give Terry at http://www.teambeefcakeracing.com/info.html a call and he can really help you with your decisions, as well as...

Whats A Proper Size Tire For 18x9 & 18x10 Wheels?

If you want the same diameter as the stock tires the 255/45/ZR18's for the front and 285/40/ZR18's on the rear would make a good combination. A 285/35 on the rear would be about 26 inch diameter instead of 27 so you would gain a little effective gear ratio. Earl

    Hellion Turbo...what To Do Next?

As far as the engine goes, one of the best bang for the buck shortblocks is the Brenspeed B326 for $4895. You can sell your stock shortblock to recoup some of the cost. You also will need a new trans. If you build the engine and start making real power, that Spec clutch will twist the input...

    Zoomer Axle Backs.. Anyone use?

When I was NA, with the stock H pipe, I had Corsa cat backs and really liked the sound quality. When I added LT headers and an offroad x pipe the sound changed completely and made the Corsa very raspy sounding. I tried about every system available and everything either didn't sound right or had...
