    i have rub on mine...I have BFGoodrich T/A KD 275/40/17's on the front, and both of mine do it, but I have to turn it all the way to get it to rub. yep same with mine...but I haven't checked the wheel wells yet for that problem.

    that is correct. just swap the head unit, use a metra harness, put in a sub, subbox, and class d monochannel amp, you'll not only save a ton of time and money, but the sound will be better than what you are trying to do as stated in your initial post.
