    The smooth one at the top closest to the alternator. Ok, so do i remove the tensioner and then remove the pulley attached to it? Or do i have to replace the whole tensioner and pulley?

    After market Hood 96-98

    I don't have an aftermarket hood, but the only 2 i would get would be either a '95 Cobra R or a Saleen heat extractor hood. Both badass in their own way, but i'll let people with hoods do the talking.

    I still haven't put mine back inside the fenderwell, i left it right next to the intake pipe. Too much of a PITA to re-install or check again.

    Update: I just changed this earlier today, real quick like. Started it up, and the noise is still there. It's still coming from the same general area around the pulley system. Might it be the belt tensioner going bad and making noise??

    The only question i have is whether i have to TQ the idler pulley down, but judging by all the hooplah posted above i guess not.

    Sorry to bring an old thread back from the dead. But my idler pulley is making noise and it has some side to side play in it so i figure i will replace it. As you said it doesn't sound that hard to remove, but when i re-install it would i have to TQ it down? I don't have a tq-wrench.

    Headlights

    Just get you a set of cobra headlights with matching clear corners and you'll be set. The stockers are ugly as hell and don't provide enough light to pass anyway.

    Weird misfire problem.

    Update: My car runs great now, i dunno what i did after i shut it off last night pissed. But the ride to work was pretty good, and the ride home was even better. Maybe w/e it was dried up.:shrug: Thanks for the help. Nighthawk, keep tryin man! I know its pissin you off too.:)

    Brake upgrade question

    Yes the brakes will fit. Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the only difference is the Cobra t-45 is a little more beefed up. Maybe it has stronger forks and synchros...?

    '98 GT The plugs can't have more than 15-16k on them, pretty sure the buddy i bought it from changed the plugs when he swapped the engines.

    Ok now i am somewhat pissed and confused. I just got done removing each plug wire one by one, cleaning each plug well one by one, and removing and cleaning each spark plug one by one. I then go for a drive and it still sorta does it. The misfire at idle is gone it seems, and under light...
