    Widest tires on my rims?

I have 255/60 R15 BFG Radial T/A's on my 15x8 Welds. I don't like the look on the 255/60, too tall in my opinion. I would look at something else. Go to tirerack.com and look up sizes and specs. They will tell you the range of rim sizes that will work with a particular size tire.

    Engine Blown?? Huge crack..pics..

Hard to tell by the pic, but it looks like the balancer is pointing upward at an angle. If it is then you broke your crank, and most likely your block. Chances are you bent valves and pushrods as well.

Pressing new pinion bearing on the pinion shaft

Yes, there is a shim that goes between the pinion gear and the pinion bearing. The shim determines your pinion depth. It is usually pretty thin, around .025. Technically you should use a pinion depth checker to figure out the proper shim size.

    t5 FTMFL

I busted my T5Z and decided to go with a TKO 600. I crunched the numbers and determined that the G-Force wasn't really any cheaper once you add everything up. Plus I got a brand new tranny instead of one that was basically rebuilt. The Tremec is a little heavier, but you can't get something...

Need some airbag help, code 34

I think code 32 is the one that usually means the clock spring. Plus my horn and cruise work, which should mean the clockspring is OK?

Need some airbag help, code 34

My car has been flashing a code 34 for a while now. I really want to get this fixed, but I've been having trouble finding info on this particular code. It seems it is not very common. From what I can tell the most likely cause is a bad diagnostic monitor. I've tried 2 used ones, but ended up...

trickflow track heat engine kit with s-trim

I have a similar set-up. Mine made about 425rwhp, un-tuned. I think it has a little more in it, but I need a good dyno tune and custom chip. Don't forget to factor that into your expenses. A good tune is a must if you want it to last. I'm getting by for now by pulling out a lot of timing...

    Cleaning Pro-m MAF?

I recently cleaned mine. I removed the actual sensor and GENTLY cleaned the sensor wires with a Q-Tip dipped in rubbing alcohol, worked great.

    Oil Pressure Question...Is this normal?

Anyone else have some oil pressure numbers that I can compare mine to? I'm just curious what kind of pressure other people are getting. I would feel a lot better if I was getting more like 60 psi at WOT instead of 50 psi.

    Oil Pressure Question...Is this normal?

I asked them about the numbers a while back. I think I'm still within the normal range, but I'm on the very low end of the spectrum. I'm gonna switch to the 15w-40 on my next oil change

    Oil Pressure Question...Is this normal?

I put a new DSS Pro Bullet 306 in my car a few months ago. It's runs great so far, but ever since I put it in I've been concerned about the oil pressure. I'm using a standard volume Melling pump, Moroso 7 qt pan, and 10w-40 oil. At cold start-up I'm seeing about 55-60 psi. At hot idle I'm...

    GT40/GT40P Head questions

Where are you located? I have a used set of cast iron GT-40's that I'm selling cheap, they just need a little work. I don't really want to ship them though 'cause the're so heavy

    can anyone help me out?

Two ranges colder for Autolite would be 3922. Not sure about the others

    Scatter Proof Bell housing Installation??

I've never done it myself, but here is a link to a write-up I found when I was in the market for a scattershield. http://www.mustangworks.com/articles/drivetrain/Bellhousing03.html

What kind of bypass do you BOOSTED guys use?

The regular old Bosch valve that comes with the kit will be fine for that set-up. That's what I'm running on mine. Should be fairly in-expensive to get a replacement valve.

    Head bolts leaking coolant!!!!

Did you use any thread sealer on the bolts when you put them in? They thread into the water jacket, so they will leak pretty much every time if you don't put sealer on them. I think you should be able to go back and remove them one at a time and seal them, and then torque them back to spec.

What does this coolant hose do?

The bypass hose allows coolant to circulate through the block before the T-stat opens. Without it, when the engine is warming up, the coolant will just sit in the block and it won't heat up evenly

Factory tach has a mind of it's own

Most likely cause is that the Tach itself is bad. Mine started acting up a while back, I replaced it and problem solved

Reardrums to disks with 4 holes

I'm considering this kit. It will probably cost more than a j/y set-up, but I think it will save a lot of time and trouble. I think you can get it through Summit for a little less. http://www.ssbrakes.com/products/detail/684/?make=Ford&model=Mustang&year=1992

    Help, MSD-Tach issue,,

The factory tachs are notoriously inaccurate, especially up in the higher RPM ranges. Chances are the Monster Tach reading is correct
