    Couple quick questions. Have you put a timing light on it when it is having this problem and verified that it is in fact a timing problem? And since it sounds like you've hit everything else, any corrosion/excessive resistance in the pip jumper?

    I don't know if I still have the diagram, but there is only a slight difference between an auto and a 5 SPF o2 harness. If you look at it, there is an empty spot on the harness. The wire next to the hole is moved over. It's easy to find the wire because it just loops around. I'll see if I can...

    Odds are, it is still the rear main seal. Possibly, when the person before you changed the rear main, he/she nicked the crank. However, the first thing I would do is replace the PCV screen and PCV valve after making sure I had good vaccuum to the PCV valve. If the PCV system is not working...

    If you are putting an a9p ina 5spd, you have to move a wire in the o2 harness. If you have an a9l you should be good.

    Stop looking. You found it. And Yep.. It fugazis a lot. I fixed mine by soldering a wire across the trace. Odds are, you burned it by pulling codes trying to jump the hood light wire.

    Was it a speed density swap? And regardless, open the case up and take a look for a burnt trace. Mine got one and had a lot of problems.

    That was my original post. There is no performance increase from deleting EGR. Only effects are a cleaner engine bay and increased part throttle combustion temps.:nice:

    Under what circumstances does it stay on under full throttle? I've looked at the guf strategy and never saw anything to lead me to believe it would open under full throttle. At full throttle, you shouldn't have the required vacuum to open the valve even if the computer wanted to.

    Junkyard 3g is 25 bucks around here. Then you would need to aquire 4 gauge wire, fuse, etc.

    A cleaner engine bay. There will be no performance gain. The egr us disabled at full throttle anyway. If you are tested for emissions on a dyno like we are here in NJ, you might fail for nox without it.
