    My trans is the same exact way. Shifting into 2nd is always a crap shoot if I'm going to grind the gear or not. 5% of the time it'll go in smooth, no grinding, like nothing is wrong. But the rest of the time, the shifter will buck in my hand for a split second as it grinds itself into gear...

    Dealership by me is selling them at $300 UNDER invoice. They took my Z plan pin and found the GT I wanted a few hours away, had it transferred over. Ended up getting it for just under $28k. Just gotta find a good dealership.

    Pinging... again.

    Mine pings with 89 octane, I put in a 2003 GT engine. Been looking for ways to fix it, I've tried getting gas at different places but no change. I usually get tip-in ping when I hit the gas, or when the revs are low accelerating in a high gear. I'll try the seafoam before I do my next oil...

    You have the adjustable cable? I adjusted mine at the clutch fork until my pedal was low enough where my leg wasn't sticking in the air (I'm tall) but not too low where it wouldn't engage. I then used the firewall adjuster to take out the slack, but not too much to where the TOB was constantly...

    Per the instructions, it's on the hook closest to the firewall. THe instructions said to put it on the hook farthest from the firewall if you're not using an adjustable cable.

    I've seen the exact opposite. I have the full steeda adjustment set, the adjustable cable, double hook quadrant, and the firewall adjuster. Works awesome, I just need to adjust mine since I got a new clutch in last weekend.

    Low Fuel Light - Fuel Reserve

    I've done it a bunch of times where the Low Fuel light comes on right before I stop for gas, I fill up, and I always get right around 13.8 gallons which is 2 gallons less than a full tank, so I guess the light comes on with 2 gallons left, if I'm getting 20 MPG, that means I have about 40 miles...
