compression test results. should i be worried??

What would be considered "normal" psi on a 302? Let's say the engine was brand new back in 1987? What psi would I be looking for on a new engine?

    FUEL PUMP NOT WORKING

That's the same issue I had a year ago. Make SURE that's one of the first things you check. :nice:

    gt40 vs. gt40p

However....in general....the gt40s (across the board) flow better than the E7's, right?

    gt40 vs. gt40p

I could've sworn that there were some fitment issues with 'em or something. The gt40p's that is. I'd love for somebody to clarify that though.

    gt40 vs. gt40p

Which heads are better? And how can I tell the difference between the two?

    normal temp?

I'm consistently at 205 to 210 degrees fahrenheit depending on the outside temperature and how HARD I'm running the beast. :D I've read several threads that indicate 205 degrees fahrenheit is the best temp. to run at because the engine is combusting the fuel in the cylinders at its...

    5.0 Intake Install question

Obviously, a set of gt40 heads (ported and polished) will OUT flow a set of E7 heads (ported and polished)......right? How can I tell if I'm getting the gt40s, or the gt40p's? I want the gt40's...correct?

    BBK Performance SSI Intake

It almost seems as if the BBK intake has too many fitment issues. I almost bought one until the experts on this forum convinced me to stick with the Cobra. And let me tell ya, I am NOT dissappointed.

    throttle body/intake question

My bad then...obviously I was referring to a N/A vehicle. Whoopsy daisy! :OT:

    throttle body/intake question

If the OP says he's running a bigger stroke (as YOU apparently are), or has any more modifications than I'm aware of, I'll retract my suggestion of TB and MAF width. However, this will be my final response to a ridiculously (and possibly) unending conversation of who's cooler and who knows more...

    throttle body/intake question

Lmao indeed! Unless this dude has stated that he's got a custom cam and the valvetrain to match it, I'm assuming he's running a fairly stock motor. Why in the world would he run a 75mm TB with an 80mm MAF? That's overkill! Are there N/A applications that call for a 75mm TB and 80mm MAF...

    throttle body/intake question

Holy cow! 75mm on a N/A stang? I have a 70mm BBK throttle body on MY normally aspirated stang and I thought that THAT was cutting it pretty close. Ideally, a 65mm would be the best with a 75mm MAF. :nice:

    plugs

+1 Everyone should know at this point that copper is the best conductor of heat/electricity, therefore redering it the most beneficial choice in overall performance. Platinum is not as good of a conductor. However, you won't have to change platinum plugs near as much as you would with...

Ummmm......like.....I was always under the impression that the first Cobra wasn't available until 1993.
