    00 GT hood or 01+ w/scoop?

Both look great; I suppose I prefer the 01 w/scoop like the Bullitt version.

Besides being annoying, what does the CEL do?

    - The mere existence of CELs makes me wish I owned a <1992 car (prior to OBD-I) or <1997 (prior to OBD-II). Okay rant time. - CA requires smog tests only on cars more than 5 years old. We've had CELs come on with many cars (Volvo, Miata, Cougar, ML430) but we ignored them and the cars...

Top speed of a bone stock 2005-07 Mustang GT

A buddy of mine pegged his 3.0L V6 Mitsubishi Eclipse at 150 mph on a desolate Utah highway (ironically with his 92 year old father in the passenger seat). If I was younger, I'd undoubtedly top out my Mustang but I'm 40 yo so I guess I've become more rational, mature or lost my balls somewhere...

    Cinco do Mayo

There a few places I can think of in Monterey, CA that should have a good Marguerita. I guess some people wish this place was still part of Mexico. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/48825056/?qo=17&q=by%3Apartywave&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps :flag:

Top speed of a bone stock 2005-07 Mustang GT

I'm surprised no one has posted a top speed run of a Mustang on youtube like these: - Corvette Z06 190 mph run: http://youtube.com/watch?v=I6EiNFiLhV0 - or this Kia minivan hitting 120 mph http://youtube.com/watch?v=qPtxkqqH6J4 - or this Kia minivan hitting 200 kmh...

    Personalized Plates

Here is one I saw today of a patriotic Mustang owner (wonder if he is a member here?).

    Best vanity plate ever! (picture)

    - The owner's name is probably something close to '****ty' like 'Shetty'; probably justified it like that. - CA is actually pretty strict in some ways. The online service allowed us to choose (and pay) for a plate that said "EM1LY" with 1 replacing the I. Then DMV sent us a refund and said...

    Best vanity plate ever! (picture)

Here are a couple that I thought were worth taking pics of (Green Beret Special Forces Sergeant Major and a Badass Cobra)

Installed my pre painted Ebay bumper!

Great choice! Closely resembles SVT Cobra; very tough looking.

    HIDEOUS ABOMINATION on mag cover

Miatas are great at racing other Miatas and they are popular in the Mazda Spec SCCA series (but not chasing down Z06s). I owned a Miata for a few years and it was a blast to drive but the only way you'll chase down a Z06 is by putting a V8 into a Miata.

This is How You Know If You Can Heel Toe

I have a pair of these and they are great (running through the gears on curvy, hilly roads such as Carmel Valley road from Hwy 1 to Hwy 101 or for everyday activities such as walking). http://laguna-seca.stores.yahoo.net/pilotishoe.html

Who here's stang is a dd

Ditto, 55 or 60 miles for my daily commute (plus more driving at lunchtime); bought my Mustang in Aug 06 and already have 22,500 miles logged. So far it is averaging 18.0 MPG with a combination of city/hwy driving.

    Vanity Plate Name

You could also incorporate P51 which was the nomenclature of one of the fastest propeller planes ever made (WWII fighter called the P51 Mustang with 1,700 hp capable of a top speed of 440 mph - as fast as many passenger jets travel). I recently ordered P51 V8 through CA DMV. But you could try...

Some one want to come replace me in Iraq? Found my pony!

That is an incredible car in and out - ultimate 99-04! Those rims and that black/red interior really make it stand out. Hang in there, thank you for your service. Hopefully your plans to get an awesome car like that will give you some extra motivation to make it through each day of hardship...

    current Mustang GT pricing

Ouch, I got $1k discount off of $30k sticker...(but that was back in 06).

    Anyone with a street bike?

Last year I bought a low mile always garaged bike from the 80's; 1983 Suzuki GS750ES. I hadn't ridden a bike in 20 years and this one is a lot of fun. And, the seat position is not too radical - comfortable yet sporty enough for an old guy like me.
