    Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Challenger running high 13's? Seems slow for a car with 425 hp. And that's the TOP MODEL. It must be heavy as hell.

    The '95 saleen had a 5.0, which is a lot cheaper to modify than the first-gen modular's are. They also respond much better to non-FI mods.

    tick in the engine

    My car has done it since I did the PI swap with '03 heads. Hasn't caused any problems and the car still runs fine. I'm not worried about it because I'll be dropping a 5.4 under the hood in the next year or so anyway...

    H or X, CAI?

    I have an X and it's not raspy at all BUT mine has cats and it's paired with a magnaflow CB exhaust. I think an x-pipe without cats might sound pretty raspy with those borla's. I'd go h-pipe on your car. Oh, and just check all the posted about CAI's on here. They are pretty much just for looks....

    Yep, scrap yard. I just sold my stock h-pipe for $100. And here I was thinking it was worthless..... Unfortunately, even though my stock pipe had 6 cats on it, they are very small cats, so they weren't worth as much as I was expecting when I took it to them.

    If you buy new PI heads, you'll probably spend the same amount total to buy them and have them ported as you would for pre-ported PI heads. If having them ported, I would send them to Fox Lake.     I would try the King Cobra. It's a lot better than stock from what I hear and it's a lot cheaper than some of the others. Whatever you pick, I'd just say stay away from Spec. I've just read a lot of bad things about Spec products on this forum.
