    Nothing should cause your issues... I would set the base timing at 6-8- or 10 degrees ( none of which should cause issues) and see where the engine likes it!! IF you are at 8* and the car runs hot and overheats... I would look into the cooling !! If the car sux untill the base is at 20*...

    Keeping it light!! Use the E303 camshaft.. install the cam in 4-6* advanced. Keep the holley, they are easy to mod and better than the 'Brocks, IMHO. Get a set of GT40s out of a salvage yard.. or a set of ported E7s ( or GT40's) , and you should be at 200-250 HP. Weiand stealth intake...

    C4 or C6 trans?

    Wait!! IF it is the small block C6 ( bolts up to the SBF ) then even though it IS heavier, it is STRONG!! I would see if you could sell it!! then buy the C4 if you want!! The small block C6 is worth a min of 250.00 !!!!! Just a thought Just me................................. Thumper
