    Sub Frames

The Bullitt subframes are junk. I cracked my passenger side just from hard driving & road racing. First of all, they're a poor design with a thin sidewall, basically just the convertible subframe connector. Second, they're bolted on, not welded. Scrap 'em. Now, whether or not it makes a...

    Clutch

Go with a Ford Racing clutch for the '93-'98 Cobra. I think that's about as close to stock as you'll get.

Weird Rear End Tag? 8.5inch, What?

For an '01 Bullitt, the 3L27 is correct, as they all came with 3.27s. The next letters should read 88 for an 8.8" rear, as you say. I think you're right, it's just a misprint.

M-2320-f Bullitt Calipers And M-2320-af 10th Anniv Cobra Calipers

If they're the actual red powdercoated Bullitt-specific calipers, you should be able to sell them easily here or any other forum/eBay, as they've been discontinued for awhile now.

    Egr Tube For 01 Bullitt

Well, I'm kinda using the one on my Bullitt, hah. I occasionally check CL, eBay & my local Ford dealerships for a bunch of the Bullitt-specific items, so if I come across one, I'll keep you in mind. FYI, last time I recall seeing one sell second-hand, the guy got around $60 for it.

    Egr Tube For 01 Bullitt

Those are exceedingly hard to find now as Ford stopped making them years ago. Most people just do an egr delete. Try calling your local Ford dealerships & asking them to do a search - maybe someone in your area has one sitting on the shelf.

    Do All 3650's Shift Slow??

It's quite possible one of the TSBs related to shift fork replacements may be the culprit here. There were a lot of us in '01 & '02 who had shift forks replaced for manufacturing defects (mine was the 1-2, but others had problems with 2-3). I don't know if the later year SN95s were still...

    Gears

To answer your original question, I had a shop where I personally know the owner swap my 3.27 with a FRPP 3.73 for a little over $800. That included the fluids & gaskets - all I gave 'em was the new gears. I've paid for gear swaps three times on three different cars in the past eight years or...

    Odd Question

Sorry for the delay - had to move some things in the garage so I could get to the front of the Bullitt & open the hood. The diagram you linked to is exactly how my belt is routed.

    For Sale Four Eye Fox

https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1990-FORD-MUSTANG-CONVERTIBLE-202151 Five years ago I would have never believed a Fox body (other than 93 Cobras) would go for more than $50K, much less something in the 70s or 80s.

Yes, I believe so, but I will verify when I get home tonight.

    Odd Question

The Bullitt came with a different length belth than a GT because of the larger water pump pulley. IIRC, it should be 94.7" long, but I don't know if Ford makes it anymore. I use a Goodyear 94.5" belt on mine.

    K&n Issues?

Just throwing this out there, but I had an odd issue/noise on my Lincoln LS that I thought was tied to the K&N cone I had removed/reinstalled to clean & oil. After several weeks of the same annoyance you've been going thru I realized it was the idler arm going bad. Still don't know why it only...

    Metallic Rattling From Shifter

Looks like you've got an aftermarket shifter (the stock one is black & cylindrical) & it may have been one of the washers used below the shift boot on the stock unit. Might have worked its way above the boot from the tear & now it's making noise rubbing against the metal.

Progress Thread Hello All! Just Picked Up A 2002 Gt

Yup. Anything that puts more hp/torque to the rear wheels gives you more grunt off the line. A new one should be around $300 - that's cheaper than gears or an exhaust & you can do it yourself in less than 30 minutes, assuming you don't break anything.
