    Might be time to invest in a nice Canton oil pan and possibly a girdle for the mains. Easier to do while its apart. Also I'd look into a high flo oil pump. And since I didn't see one, time to get a bigger fuel pump to support those bigger injectors.

    Pull the dipstick and check the fluid color and level. If all appears normal, I'd say not too fret too much. It may have a shift kit but I highly doubt the converter is going. Do a search on checking the tv cable and its setting. May want to run it by a tranny shop to get it set up properly...

    I'd add a tranny cooler to that upgrade if you haven't already done it. A higher stall converter will heat things up alot quicker and aod's hate heat.

    if the 3.90's messed up his rearend and trans, they must have been installed wrong. I've had mine for over a year and i love them. Nice compromise behind my aod. And picked up 2 tenths at the track going from 3.55 to 3.90.
