    what a difference!

They make elbow adapters to run it on a '94/5 or you can convert it to a fox style cable and throttle body but that is more involved and requires not just a different throttle body but different throttle cable, EGR spacer, and TPS plug

Catch Can or Air Oil Separator???

A mechanical vac pump with a relief valve set to limit crankcase vacuum to about 8-12" is the best setup for a boosted motor. The crankcase will always have vacuum on it which helps keep seals and gaskets from blowing out from excess pressure and will also see a bit of a horsepower gain due to...

Catch Can or Air Oil Separator???

To run a catch can with a breather the correct way you need to delete the PCV system and cap the ports on the intake that go to it then run hoses from the can to either both valve covers or one valve cover and lower intake where PCV originally was. You shouldn't mix closed/open PCV systems...

    95 GT emissions with Tweecer

Might have a problem not having the smog pump blowing air into the cats. Years back I failed on first try without a smog pump, just catted mid pipe for longtubes. I went home and hooked up the smog pump and a hose with the checkvalve to the cats and went back the next day and passed with no...

    s spring

You can pull the trac lock but make sure you mark and keep the caps orientated not only from left/right side but also up and down. Also keep the shims orientated that will be on each outer end of the trac lock. As long as you put it all back the same way they were then you should be fine.

    s spring

I've found it easiest to place the spring halfway into a vice and compress it, then put a hose clamp on it to hold it compressed. After you get it halfway installed then use some aviator snips to cut the clamp off and tap it in with a hammer the rest of the way. You can also try with a pair...

    Suspension Which Isolators?

Or just use the correct springs to lower it to what you're wanting...lol. The "Kinda dampens the squeaks" won't cut it for some people. Others probably don't care if it makes some noise. Personally I run the stock iso's on both my cars. My '95 sits so low that I can't even fit my arm...

    Normal engine operating temperature

Using a thermostat that has a bleeder check valve (like the stock one does) also helps with air pockets. If your tstat doesn't have one, you can drill a 1/8" hole near the edge of the disc and install with hole at 12 o'clock. Also, concerning the fans...Like someone stated above, the stock...

Oil level question - too high?

Usually that's a problem if there is a mismatch between the two. Like if the heads were shaved or milled and the bottom mating surfaces of intake wasn't matched, or the other way around. Common problem when a car overheats and warps the heads. Heads get shaved but intake doesn't, causing...

Oil level question - too high?

Actually the only torque devience from using an extension between the socket and wrench head is caused by looseness in the extension connections causing the wrench to lean over and get off center over the fastener then you would get an erroneous reading because of the leverage factor. Now...

    Suspension Which Isolators?

When Ford builds cars they do it to satisfy the majority of customers and to last many, many years and miles. Yes you will get some extra noise and like said previously, some paint wear spots that will eventually rust without them. Modifying is a give and take game. If you want the bit of...

    Suspension Which Isolators?

First I've ever heard of it in the almost 25 years I've been modding mustangs...lol How thick do you have to wrap the electrical tape so it doesn't wear through or get squeezed out after a couple months of driving?

Oil level question - too high?

Without getting all technical about it, using a short 2-3" extension between the socket and wrench won't adversly effect the torque on a spark plug that has a torque spec variance from 2-8 ft lbs anyway. Read about spark plug torque importance from NGK's site Spark Plug Installation Instructions

    Suspension Which Isolators?

Doesn't makes sense because if you are going to take the time to do that, why not just put the sleeves on? I guess if you don't have them and don't want to spend the money or time to buy some then putting your car together with electrical tape sounds like a winner LOL

Oil level question - too high?

That explains a lot :D Why does every vehicle have a torque spec for it then? Why do dealership service departments do it? Do you torque lugnuts to spec or just tighten with an impact? I've never had any good experiences at a Firestone. Took one of my cars there about 12 years ago for...

Oil level question - too high?

Apparently you guys don't or have never worked in a "good" or "professional" shop (I say good or professional because I've seen my share of backwoods hack shops out there) that can be held liable if something should happen to a customers motor after they leave from having work done. Having...

Oil level question - too high?

That is the torque spec my Ford Service Manual shows. Most places I've seen torque the drain plug to spec ....even WalMart has proceedures to look up the spec in the book and torque the drain plug and then put a matchmark seal on it afterwards.

Best set of aftermarket street heads for a 94?

Boost comes with it's own quirks to make your head spin also. I've been through it all, started with nitrous on a stock bolt on motor, then in '04 bought an S trim. At 14psi and over 420rwhp/435rwtq that was super fun on the street. Then I got into the motor and added heads, cam, longtubes...
