    Engine Cover Cleaning

When I detail engines, I use an all purpose cleaner. I just spray on the APC and let it sit for a couple minutes, then I spray off with the water (low pressure). Next you just turn the engine on for a few minutes and the water will dry pretty quick. After this you can just leave it or apply a...

any ideas on detailing/or products to use?

They are glazes. The go after the polish and before the wax or sealant. Glazes fill in minor scratches and also make the paint look deep and wet.

Roush So where are the bottlenecks on my 2004 SC saleen?

Nope no headers. They are stock gt manifolds. I had 4 cats on my 04 and 6 on my 03. So you should have 4 cats on yours.

any ideas on detailing/or products to use?

The Vanilla Moose actually has light abrassives in it and I use it more for lighter colored vehicles. The Red Moose doesn't have any abrassives and is made to make the paint look wet and deep. When you mix them you get best of both worlds.

any ideas on detailing/or products to use?

Man I can't even touch that price Frank! Is it with the Lake Country pads and backing plate? You don't really need all those polishes with the Porter Cable you listed. I would just go with the Optimum Polish and Optimum Compound for your polishes. So you can take off the Poorboys SSR2, and...

any ideas on detailing/or products to use?

John, if you are wanting something in the future that will really take the paint to a new level the Porter Cable polisher is the way to go. 90% of how a car looks is in the prep work...clay,polish, and glaze. The Porter Cable along with a good polish/swirl remover will make the paint look wicked.

    can I wax my wheels?

I don't stock the wheel sealant but have some left from a previous order if anyone is interested.

    can I wax my wheels?

Wax will not hold up on wheels. I would use a wheel sealant that is specifically designed for wheels.
