    Things that piss you off...

How does that work, exactly? Just rev the engine up in neutral, or what? People that don't stop for stop signs in the middle of a crosswalk, especially when pedestrians are trying to cross, piss me off. I swear, one of these days some "I'm important and always in a hurry" retards is...

    Things that piss you off...

My co-worker that chews with her mouth open all of the time pisses me off. The same co-worker that spends ALL FRIGGIN' DAY LONG on the phone talking in this really obnoxiously murmuring soft voice to her relatives ... THAT pisses me off. People that don't pay attention because they're on...

    Things that piss you off...

Humanity, in general, pisses me off.

    Things that piss you off...

So, you were more worried about a drunk driver tearing up his car than about trying to stop him from tearing up SOMEONE ELSE? Instead of calling the cops and stalling the guy long enough for a patrol car to show up, you focused on making a sale. Way to go. :nice:

finally got my tail pipes on

Dumps sound awesome from the outside, but I've always hated how they sound inside the car - DRRRROOOOOOOOOONE! That and the noxious fumes filling the interior were always kind of a turn-off for me. Even with tails, I wind up stinking of exhaust fumes enough, as it is, when I go out for a drive...

    Does your Mustang actually run?

One for DD'ing, one for (occasional) weekend use. I wish I could drive my '89 more, but anymore I spend so much time on the weekends fixing crap on my '84 to keep it on the road that I don't have any time for it. Eventually going to ditch the '84 for a compact truck/SUV (leaning heavily...

    Distributor boot? Yey or ney?

The way I see it, Ford doesn't spend a dime on crap they don't feel serves any kind of purpose on the cars they build/sell. Thus, if they felt it necessary to spend the money to have a rubber booty put on their 5.0 dizzy cap, then I'm gonna keep it on there. It isn't slowing anything down...

    1985 gt exhaust mods ???

Pretty much nothing will fit '85 stock headers because of the heat riser on the driver's side exhaust manifold. You might be able to have an exhaust shop hack one up to fit on there for ya', but you'd be better off just switching to '87+ manifolds and getting the extra flow from those while...

    highest base timing?

Both of my 5.0's hate anything over 12* for some reason. I'm guessing it's the triple-digit heat out here.

    She turned 16

So, when she turns 18, can I (legally) have sex with your car? :D One of my Foxes is old enough to buy me beer; the other one is ... ummm ... old enough to know better, but still too young to care. Or something like that. I dunno. (WTF happens at age 25, anyway?)

    Another E-fan install ?'s thread

Hmmm ... first I've ever heard of that happening. The center section of a radiator doesn't stick out any farther than the side tanks, so if your fan doesn't extend any farther forward than the side tanks, it should clear just fine. I would think if it's close enough to contact the fan, maybe...

Took some pics of the 88GT.

 Only (minor) suggestion I'd make is to either get a Cobra rear bumper to better fit those tails, or go with regular GT tails tucked out of sight. LX tails peeking out from underneath a GT rear looks ... I dunno ... ill-fitting somehow. Otherwise, though, that car is straight...

    93 Ranger help

Unless the aforementioned '93 Ranger has a 5.0 swapped into it, I have no clue why you posted this in 5.0 Tech. Just for future reference, there's an "Other Auto Tech" forum on Stangnet that you may wish to try. Mods will probably move this thread there shortly. Any chance it could...

    C4 vs. C6

Well, if a stock '87-'93 5.0 is rated at 225 HP at the flywheel, what are most folks showing for RWHP on a dyno with an AOD car? (I seem to remember around 190 HP being the norm for stock setup Foxes, but I think those were mostly on T-5 cars... )
