    Use of penetrants like PB Blaster, etc. can help to. Just use a brake cleaner spray before re-assembly. Almost anything can be loosened over time with a good penetrant...

    Remember there is a drain AND a fill plug. use a 3/8 socket extension to remove the upper plug. and don't overtighten putting back in. Aluminum is fragile. snug is good.

    Thanks for the ideas. :D It seems strange that a vacuum line or a swich would go bad just at this time. Trying to relate the problem to the water. I could be coincidence, however. Just about to go out and dig around, after I read up in the manuals a bit.

    Well, it finally caught up with me... Barely open windows in a fierce thunder storm. The depressions in the doors were completely filled with water by the time I got to it. :mad: I drove it home with the AC on to dry out the interior. Normal AC worked perfectly, as well as Max AC...
