    Brand new 09 Mustang smoking

The rental car is covered under the 3 year 35K mile bumper to bumper factory warranty. Any way they put it... a smoking new car is not acceptable. Yeah... a video would be cool. Is it smoking like in NastyStangs avatar? :D Or is it more like this... Mustang Burning Oil Video

    Brand new 09 Mustang smoking

My GT has not burned one drop of oil since I bought it new. It is about to turn over 30k on the mileage. I drive short distance, long distance, slow, fast, it doesn't matter. The 4.6 Modular motor was built for reliability. The "story" your Service Adviser/Writer has given you is total...

    Need help using 3M tape

I have the same spoiler and the same issues in the summer. The only real fix I've seen is drilling the deck lid and screwing the spoiler onto the deck lid. I have a couple friends with that spoiler and that's what they did... and went even farther by filling in the edges from the body to the...

    Post Pics of Your Mustang

yes sir. In general I stay with step 3 (carnauba wax) But when I start to notice swirls and minor scratches I break it back down to step 1 (cleaner) then stage 2 (polish) and step 3 ( carnauba wax). Having an orbital buffer comes in handy when you start back at step 1. :nice:

    OEM Painted Hoods

Cervini's C- hood is the best on the market as far as quality fiberglass workmanship and fit. But it does come with a couple spots on the underside along the seems that you might want to have your body shop fill in and finish. But if you don't care about what the underside looks like it really...

    Chrome or Anthracite?

20" or 18" ? I almost bought the anthracite wheels but went with the old school chrome and black look. I think anthracite would look good if you went with other gray accents i.e. stripes/gray or CF center tail light trunk blackout etc. It's really up to you... Get what you like. You have to...

    detail spray

I go across it with a California Duster first. Then hit it with the quick delailer spray. Works great... without creating swirls in the wax. :nice:

    OEM Painted Hoods

I have the same hood... I bought it before Cervini's offered the painted version. I paid $600 for it to be fitted, finished, and painted. So... $400 is a good deal IMO.
