Last mod before I hit the strip??

You will probably get about the same gains out of either of those mods, so I would go for the X-pipe just because your car will sound better with that.

    PI head swap, too strong?

I believe u should still be able to run 87 octane even with the raised compression not sure, because I got my head port and polished also and get some milled so my compression raised even more. Might have to run 89 but I think you could get away with 87 still, maybe I'm wrong hopefully somebody...

    Good starting mods...

Good starting mods are an O/R H or X-pipe, short throw shifter, gears, TB and plenum, LT headers, any and all suspension.

    MAC Mufflers

I think I have decided I am going to switch over from my Flowmaster American Thunder catback to some MAC mufflers. My catback came with the delta 40's so they are a bit quiet for me. Got a couple of questions, #1 is the MAC flowpaths the only mufflers that MAC makes? #2 How much louder will the...

What is your opinion on ceramic coating?

If you got the money go for the ceramic coating its better than stainless steel, hell if u got money sell those shorties and go for LT's.

Questions swapping 96 GTS to PW/PDL

I’ve swapped a 96 Mustang GTS to power windows and power door locks using parts and harnesses from a 98 Mustang V6 with remote keyless entry. Besides the obvious hardware and harness swaps in the doors, there was an additional harness that needed to be changed. This harness plugs into the...

    PI head swap, too strong?

96-98 and 99+ engines are basically the same except for the heads, intake, and cams, and probably a few other little things. A PI headswap is definetely not to strong for your car, it makes your car stronger. You are basically just putting on new heads, cams, and an intake manifold, its not like...

    next Mod?

I have a bit of difference in exhaust setup but definetely do PI swap next if you got the cash, best thing I have done. If you are looking for something smaller gears is are an awesome mod. Exhaust wise catback wont really do anything, aftermarket mid-pipe is good for some ponies and LT's are...

    Anyone have Flowmaster Super 40's?

Nice well thanks for the info, 1 more question how do the originals compare to the MAC catback? Deepness, loudness, drone?

    Anyone have Flowmaster Super 40's?

I could care less about interior resonance, I love drone, so whatever drones the most is the best, and I want the loudest of the 3 so I'm guessing I should go with the originals then?

    Anyone have Flowmaster Super 40's?

So the order goes from loudest to quietest Super 40's > Original 40's > Delta 40's correct? Also somebody was saying something about a 5 db difference between delta 40's and super 40's which sounds like it would be a noticable sound difference.

    Cobra Tranny

Yea dont go with a 3650 in my opinion its worse than a T-45. Go with a TKO 500 or 600 they are awesome transmissions or if you want the 6 speed go with the t-56.

What is a good daily driver clutch for a blown 02 Gt?

I've heard the spec stage 3 is not a good daily driving clutch is that true? I've never driven a car with it.

    Anyone have Flowmaster Super 40's?

Got a question. Right now I have the Flowmaster American Thunder catback, but on 96 the catback came with delta 40's not original. I want it to be a bit louder not like SLP Loudmouth loud but just a bit louder, should I go with 1 chamber flows or you think putting on super 40's would make it...

    Hollow Sounding Exhaust

Not quite sure what u mean by hollow sounding, can u elaborate anymore? I'm guessing u mean something that kind of has a tinny, deep, resonating sound in which case I would say go with flows or any chambered muffler for that matter.

What is a good daily driver clutch for a blown 02 Gt?

Could always go with a Spec clutch if you are going to be up around 400-500 hp I would suggest at least a stage 2. I've heard good things about spec clutches.
