    Disc Brake Options.

I used the CSRP swap, it was significantly less that the others. It seemed like it was the same parts when I was looking years ago. No problems with it, instructions were easy, and customer service was good.

Anyone Used A Key Locking Auto Trans Shifter Knob?

push button ignition, no key required to start. if I park it somewhere I worry about I take my steering wheel like rbohm does. I get funny looks, but really don't care, my car is cooler than the lookers. I do have door locks, but they would only slow down a rookie thief. Without the steering...

    this gass is CRAP

well hopefully without making to many people mad, I'll say it; ethanol was subsidies and suppose to be one of the solutions for green energy. We have seen other areas green energy has failed. I don't think people really get how much we depend on oil and how well it works compared to everything...

Looking for non-reproduced parts for a 66 coupe

I had to reuse mine as I couldn't find it, I think you are probably going to have to contact some of the dealers who stock used parts (that is what was recommended to me).

66 coupe -fast back, yea i am going to do it again

yeah, thinking a 6 cylinder coupe, as I am planning on full tub and MII next time. I used a c-code, and wouldn't feel bad about another c-code if it was as cheap as a 6.

66 coupe -fast back, yea i am going to do it again

Very nice, I replaced the same metal on my coupe (minus the roof skin, and plus wheel wells). I wish would have done this instead. My roof was horrible and it took a ton of work to get right. This would have been easier, and not cost to much more. I always said my first one was my learning...

    One Wire Alternator Hook Up

I also used a fuse for my one wire. Make sure the post stays tight, there is a jam nut. Mine got loose and it wasn't charging. I was able to tighten it, but it's days are numbered now.

    Pushrods for guideplates

also, when measuring for push rods, I'd favor a smaller witness mark that is offset from center as opposed to a larger centered mark. As poppy said the idea is to get a continuous 90 degree relationship, so the rocker is not sliding back and forth on the valve tip creating side loads and wearing...

looking for advice on a carb

again, I'd look at someone who builds carbs if you are going with anything other than a stock holley. the cost is the same as the upgraded carbs and you can have one built for your motor by someone who you can call and talk to on the other end of the phone. rather than calling a tech rep at...

    WIX

fram is low quality, wix has been around and a much better filter. I have not have a fram fail, used them for a while (not anymore). several engine builders I know have seen frams lead to failure, and recommend wix or motorsport.

    manual proportioning valve??

I think the dist block he is referencing is the stock one, and I think on some they have a proportioning function built into them (70/30). I have t-fittings splitting the lines, and manual prop valve on mine. I've got 4 wheel disc, allows me to control the bias to the rear brakes(runners and...
