    Power brake booster

google mustangsteve and look on there. Not sure which one he uses but you can get it at a junkyard. I bought it all from him with the pedals and everything, real nice setup (I was converting from auto to stick)

What do you think of this T5 Ratio?

I've got 4.30's and the std overdrive gear in my T5 and I really wish I had the road race 5th gear. I can't drive it in 5th at 60mph.

    65 Restomod engine bay question

Where would you bolt the export brace to (or the stock brace). Otherwise cutting and rewelding probably should be fine. I'd do a little at a time as the piece might open up if you cut it all off at once.

    windshield trim studs?

The link he posted has screws with the clips. The screws replace the studs. I thought the 65's had screws and 66's had studs. I have 66 that had studs. I ended up using screws where I had studs missing. Easy to do, drill a hole and put the screw in rather than have to weld on the thin sheet...

Spraying Primer in Garage - Any Tips to Keep Mess Down

I gave up and ended up re-painting the garage and painting the floor with the quicrete epoxy. I tried plastic drop clothes, but ended up getting underneath one, then just went with it for about 2 years of body/paint prep.

    Good Metal Adhesive

maybe some permatex black. I've used it for holes about 1/2" in diameter with wires through them to make it water tight. With a fitted metal patch this would probably hold, be water tight and a little flexible. Assuming you can't really see the area.

    square port heads

Many of the after market heads have square ports, and I think some of the ford racing ones do. I know felpro makes a square port gasket as I used it on my highports. My accufab's were made for my square ports.

    TKO or T45?

Also, if you go the T-5 route, astro performance makes a A-5. Upgrades to 550 ftlbs and 675hp. I am running one, I a haven't really ran it to much yet for feedback. It does shift well. Customer service is great.

    TKO or T45?

I'd get the 600 and have room for growth. Seems like most people (to include myself) are never fast enough or have enough power. I realize $500 is a quite a bit of money, but it'll be less than a rebuild or worse a new one when you break the T45.

    Noise Filters

I can hear my vacuum pump when it is running (when the car is off). I have the same power wire for the pump and amps (limited switches); would a filter stop this? I have a good battery, and all of my grounds lead back to the battery via 1/0 welding cable. It isn't really an issue with the car...

    351w stroker w/ edelbrock 400Hp kit

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I did not mean it literally makes your engine turn faster. What makes the engine turn faster is the conversion of chemical energy into thermal and mechanical energy. Add more fuel and air it spins faster (as long as the motor can burn the fuel). With...

    351w stroker w/ edelbrock 400Hp kit

I'd talk to a cam guy, engine builder, or someone who races for a living and build it with the complete project in mind. This way the parts will match, I did mine a little at a time and ended up with a weird combo. The larger cubes will keep your RPM down (or at least make power in a lower RPM...

4 Hole Carb Spacer on Vic Jr. on 408W Stroker

I have a 4-hole on my chi 3.0 (I think bigger than a super vic). The intake came with a clover leaf, I had it removed and ported. The porting included being matched to an HVH (1"). It kind of makes a transition from the holes in the carb to the intake. Also, it keeps the carb cooler. I...

    Aftermarket brake upgrade overview article

I have the csrp KH conversion in my 66 coupe, the strange explorer kit for the rear on my 9", with a mustang steve pedal and power booster, 2000 v6 mustang master cylinder, and a vacuum pump in the trunk. Only driven it a couple time now, seems to stop well (unless I forget to turn on the...

    Report - Dynomax VT mufflers

sound clip, finally! Andrew Tacquard's Videos | Facebook I don't think draw back number 1 or 2 applies for me, I can barely hear myself talk at idle. I am glad I didn't get some louder mufflers. These are with 3" and an x pipe. solid roller .672 lift about 260 duration at 50. Oh yeah...

    Shock options for mini tub?

A little under $19 in metal (with shipping and some scraps I had). This is what I came up with. Installed the shock is about 1.75 inches lower than the before the mod (should give me almost 2 inches of travel upwards with the car at rest). One of the pics shows the difference with the passenger...

    Interior Sealant?

I shaved my cowl vents as well. I had some rot on the bottom section of my cowl (on the inside of the car), I was able to cut it all out and replace with some sheet metal and sealed the cowl on the bottom too. I did drill a couple drain holes in it in case some water ended up in it.
