    you need to mark the tv cable w/marking compound of some sort where it bolts to the drivers side linkage on the tranny. do this b/c it is slotted at that spot and allows for a small range of adjustment. you might no need to but it could save you a headache down the road.

    as i recall, when i did mine on my 90 AOD there were three splines. or at least three drops on clunks that you will feel. make sure that you feel all of them or else! someone please correct me if i'm wrong but i don't believe i am. you will also want to put half to one quart ATF in the converter...

    ok i will do this, but i just wanted to ask if this could negatively affect the situation? or is this the only way to be sure that things will line up properly? i think i'm going to take it down to the shortblock and start over again with heads and intake just to make sure i have things 100%...
