    That is great. What time of the evening did this run occur? Did you find that your times were better in daylight or at night?

    It looks like you probably did a 13.8 density altitude corrected depending upon what time of the evening you made your run. You might be able to sqeek into the high 13.7s if you get real good weather but don't expect more than that without any mods.

    Lucky you, I would get 60-70 degree weather here in the morning quite often. It is hottest between 2-5pm here and racing starts at 6pm and lasts until 10pm.

    Get a Bamachips tune. Mine did this with a Superchips tune. The Bamachips Race Tune seems to free the car up in low gears and has excellent throttle response.

    Those with automatics, does your GT sound noisy when you shift into reverse? Mine seems to sound noiser than when I first got the car and it seems to be less smooth of a transition. Especially when I am parked somewhat on an incline. I am concerned, could this be a gear problem?

    1) Bamachips tune, the race tune is awesome. 2) Exhaust if you want a throatier sound and a little more hp. I went with Corsa axel-backs and I am happy with them. 3) A CAI--JLT or C&L are probably the best. If you do any of these mods, get the tune last.

    I have a K&N filter in my factory air box instead of Motorcraft and K&N claims that their filters provide a 1-4hp increase. So if you use the "for every 100hp increase, you gain a second in the 1/4 mile" theory, yeah it would probably amount to a few hundrenths of a second difference.
