    looks like it has a lot of orange peel on the middle of the door. Is that the original paint?? Sometimes Ford paint does look like that though.

    When do you know if your K&N needs to be oiled

    When they are clean they are still a nice red color. When dirty, they appear grey to even black in color. Takes a while for them to need cleaning under normal driving conditions.

    I cant say the 2005 has grown on me yet. I like the look of the 1999-2004 a little better. I was wondering what the late model owners were going to do when the 05 finally gets here this Fall. Will it be worth $30,000 fully loaded when you can spend $12000 on a nice late model.....

    Whoa....Air silencer, sounds daring to me!! Leave it on, and get a procharger 3 core instead. You will get slightly higher gains with the SC if it is tuned properly.

    Zymol makes a nice soapless foaming wash with shine enhancers. Probably one of the best you can get....$5.99 per 16oz... Turtle wax is a good cheap alternative though.

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone had found a chrome alternator for the 99 and newer Mustangs and how much it costs.. I am doing some engine dress-up, and as soon as the hood is popped, the ugly stock piece is revealed. Also, what is the voltage produced by the stocker?? Thanks.

    picked up a clay bar, how does it work

    Hello, the clay bar seems simple, but is a modern day miracle for clear coats. Wash the car with soap to remove all old wax and dirt first. Then rub your hand accross a small section at a time to feel the contaminents on the paint. Spray on the mist, and rub the clay like you were applying wax...

    Why didnt you get the accufab plenum. My friends car had the exact same problem you have and he HATED it after a few months. It will not break in or go away. Its like the terminator.....it will never quit....ever! Send it back and get the Accufab. They fixed theirs by providing a smoother...

    Thats what I alluded to earlier in a different plenum post. Stick with the Accufab TB and plenum for best results. The cheaper ones whistle, and drive you nuts. You can hear the whistle over the radio even. Then you find yourself listening for it all the time!!!! The shops around here wont...

    If you took the money to buy a premium car, why put cheap or used parts back on it??? Dont understand that. But yeh, great, get cheap parts and youll have a nice T-body whistle that will drive you crazy. My friend bought the BBK T-Body and that thing had a hyperannoying high pitched whistle...

    Careful toughguy. You say $400, thats for the THROTTLE BODY ALSO. You better mind your P's and Q's.... You can get just the Accu. plenum for 239$. Now it is MUCH better looking and only 100 more than the pot metal. Definately worth it. Dont you think little chum??

    Plenum Question:

    Absolutely not! I have the Accufab, which is by far the most "pretty" of the plenum line-up, and the top of the plenum is smooth. There is no where to attachthe stock plate on the Accufab. You will love the Accufab though much better. It looks awesome when you pop the hood, like a chrome...
