    VERY slow air leak???? Can't figure out whats up with my tire. :-(

    See this all the time. I work at sears auto. oBviously check for a nail or screw. If ou cant find any, as mentioned before you could have a valve stem that is leaking or tire could be leaking from around the bead.

    From what i read all the handhelds including the hypertech can only be used on one vehichle becuase they lock the vin. :shrug: i have the superchips tuner and like it only used it once but it did what i needed it to do. :nice:

    I am thinking about getting a volt and oil pressure gauge for my a pillar because i want ones that actually give me a reading but not sure if i should get the pod for the a pillar or the whole pillar. And i have to paint it to match. Any pics would be great. :flag:

    how did you guys get the a pillar to match the rest of the inside? they only come in black i think. i was thinking of getting some a pillar gauges also but i don't want it to not match? :shrug:

    i had that same problem when i did my throttle body and plenum . I finnaly chased it down to to voltage being ste wrong on the tps. adjusted it and its just like it was wit the stock stuff. But since you did that im not sure what to tell you. :shrug:

    the adjustment amount is really small but if its wrong the car won't run right. Like mine did when i installed mine. The idle was hanging when coming to a stop and shifting.     I just installed my plenum and throttlebody a few weeks ago. YOu want to put it on the lowest dc voltage there is. You have to pierce the wires as it is the only way to get a reading. The two wires you want to probe are the red&gray wire and the white&gray wire. DO this with the ignition on but...

    Since i installed my throttlebody and plenum i have noticed when the car is completly warmed up and at idle i can hear this sucking noise kinda. Not sure but thats the best way to discribe it. I can't find anything and the car is running fine. Anybody else have this? :shrug:

    so has anybody seen the gains from the bbk shortys? i was pretty sold on the jba shortys. but i would like to see if the bbks would be a beter option. depends on what they are made of and how they would hold up. I want to put them on and never have to worry about them again. :shrug: :spot:

    I did'nt think the bbks were out yet. How do you like them? I am looking at a set of shorty headers myself as i too have to deal with emisions. I was looking at jba, but not sure yet. :shrug:

    no special tools. its pretty straight forward. but you will need to get some teflon sealer for the threads on the fittings if you don't already have some.

    IAC Sensor Pic?

    It is directly infront of the plenum, attached to it. It has a hose, vacumm hose running off of it to the little black box that sits in font of the plenum.

    i don't believe the heads and cams are the same. the top end is different i believe. my sister has a 03 explorer with the 4.6. And it definetly is'nt 260hp. :shrug:
