    That's one helluva "roller"... I'd love to have that to start all over with. :hail2: I'm guessing here, but the sumped tank will have to go, or can you convert it back, or can you use it that way?

    Starter stays engaged and cranking

    Clean (wire brush) all your connections in the starting circuit pos. and ground, at the battery, solenoid, starter. Wire brush all your chassis/engine block ground connections as well. It doesn't hurt, it's free, and it may solve your problem. Good luck!

    I'm new to Fox Mustang upgrades for the most part. My fox came carbed as it was a four banger. It also has the 4 cyl brakes, and since a nice set of 5 lug wheels and tires is a long way off (and I have two sets of chrome ponies) I've decided to stay four for now, but I'm upgrading to GT/V8...

    Sounds like you've got a hot wire pinched to ground/frame somewhere, or no good grounds at all. Check all your wiring under hood, make sure no bare wires or connectors aren't touching metal and your grounds.

    Like 5L5 says, it's better to have a nice red than a crappy black just to have black, and red is far cheaper and easier to find parts. Black exterior w/red interior is a nice combination. Porno Red FTW

    Your wife has to be a part time car lover.... she's got to appreciate what your hobby is or she won't support it and it'll always be a sore spot. Took me 2 marriages to get it right, so don't fret too much. My first didn't want me playing in bands either. That didn't work out.

    I used to be a bodyman too. I've seen guys get pretty nervous by paint time, especially if it's their own car.
