    new 5.0 the time is now

    For mine, Im doing the Stage 1 Power pack. It comes with the SCT Tuner with a preloaded tune, the Steeda CAI, and the Flowmaster Hushpower Axleback Exhaust. It costs 1129 from LMR. It will net you a bit of power and if you do other mods, they offer free tuning adjustments :)

    How much did you pay for your 2011 GT?

    Mine is Gt Premium, 401A upgrade, hids, electroncics package, glass roof, brembos, 3.73 gears, accessory package 5, security package. Came out to 43k, but I got it for 36.6 since i ordered it from a military base overseas.

    So for 25 grand more I can buy a car thats less than a tenth of a second faster around the track and a tenth of a second slower on a 1/4 mile? Seems like the Mustang just schooled the M3 :)

    Ford released new supercharger kits for the 5.0

    The kit looks amazing, however the pricing is steep. The paxton kit is 5kish and the turbo kit is about same price, and all three are about same power (base ford racing kit). Even the tuner kit is almost 1k more and those kits usually do not carry the warranty.

    Mustang Parts & Performance - StangMods has an HID kit thats an OEM Non HID to an HID Kit. If the bulb your currently have is the same as factory ones, then this HID kit should plug right in.

    Tires/Speakers

    I had Hankook V12 Evos on my S2000, dont get them. They arent worth it. The inner walls were cracking after a like 4 months of normal street driving and the every now and then redline. No drifting/autox or anything like that. I would go for the Nittos Nt05 or Bridgestone Potenza RE050 Pole Positons.

    sct tuner or exhaust

    I would say get the exhaust first. You can slap it on without tuning it, get a good sound, but you might not get much power (depending on what exhaust though). Then buy the tuner and a few other parts and then install and tune for it.
