    i have had better luck leaving at lower rpm & slipping the clutch a little. kind of ride it out as u roll into throttle. it's hard to cut a 1.9-2.0 or better 60' on street tires. has been for me anyway.

    on the front, i'd go with the smallest size that will fit & not look silly on the rim. i'd say 255 or maybe 265 max. that's what i'd run if i wasn't concerned about rotating em. btw, i have 275's all around and it does cause some tracking probs.

    don't need a maf. might get a t/a to go with your pulleys. unless u are gonna get a chip after u get some more mods. t/a helped mine more than pulleys.

    Overtightening Alternator Pulley

    i have never heard of that. as tight as it is on there from the factory, i kinda doubt it too. maybe if u like had a breaker bar and wailed on it, but not with an electric impact. maybe u just shorted out your batt. that'd be my guesstimate.
