    I've had that tickle for a while myself. I'm set on one of two units for my 69, CWI's ford center section unit or Heidts. I had an 89 Tbird and loved the ride and handling with the IRS. Too bad I had to use it as a trade-in or I may have adapted the rear to the stang.

    I assume you checked Toyo.com. I would ask them if they replaced that model with another if you can't find them. If they have been replaced I'd start calling around to see if anyone has any discontinued stock. If you've already taken these steps....:shrug:

    69s had a ford shifter. 70s went to a hurst shifter. The shifter you're talking about sounds like the typical ford floor mounted automatic shifter which mounted to the trans tunnel.

    Bolt in 70 glass. Don't forget cougars in your search if its a coupe or vert. (edit- skip the cougars since you have a mach) I don't know what glue to use, you could check with an auto glass company to see what they'd suggest.

    Spend the money for a decent setup, you'll be glad you did later. I also got the hobart 140 about this time last year. I welded up the floorpans in my son's jeep and have started the frame/cage on the stang.
