    I would say rebuild the stock one with a few extra clutches.. I think i read about having 8 total in there and it working good... I also could have completely made that up, I'll check my back issues when i go home next weekend. As for gears w/ a S/C I would go with 3.55s

    I'm not really sure, I think it depends on what class you plan on racing in. Best idea would be to order a rule book and take a look. EDIT: I think in some cases rules vary by the track too.

    I would replace the whole rotating assembly with forged stuff. I guess it really depends on how handy you are with building motors... How much power do you plan on putting through the stock block anyway?

    I try a Ford dealer, I know McCarville Ford, on L.I. so it doesn't really help you but they have a tune-up package. You can also order from them, they got an ad in 5.0... actually I just checked and of course it's not in this months.. well anyway if you can wait a few days for it their number is...

    I liked my E cam alot... also as I've said before it was the only one I had but it sounded awesome and made great power.

    Might want to look into a novi 1000 too... also when you do bigger injectors make sure to get a mass air meter calibrated for those injectors, might want to go for a bigget throttle body then too... Good luck :nice:

    What MP3 radio/cd to get for 2001 gt

    I just put a kenwood 522 in my ram. I like it. It isn't as pretty as a pioneer 7500 but it gets the job done and it's satillite ready and mp3able, you can convert the cd changer input to an aux input for a laptop or something and you can convert the rear speaker rca to a sub input.

    Just throw in a pair of kenwoods and be done with it. If you're going to bother changing them to components (MB Quart :nice: ) or something like the dualmag kenwood.

    I had it on mine and I loved it. Very easy to find the gears. FIrm shift too, once I get another stang I'm definately getting a Pro 5.0 again.

    Might as well throw some GT-40 or similar heads w/ an E-303 cam in while your at it. If you're going to do all that you might want to convert it to mass air too.

    Yeah I agree, I was thinking about converting a 4 banger to a 5.0 then I realized it would probably end up cheaper to just get a 5.0 in the first place. The 4 eyes do look real nice when they're done up though.

    Mods are in my sig. It ran a 13.8 @ 100 in Orlando :shrug: . This was before the subframe connectors and with the second gear synchros shot. I think a lack of traction and gears was my main problem :bang: . I think I'm gonna go for them first on my next one.

    Does my motor need an engine oil cooler?

    Like everyone else said I really don't think you'll pick up any power from it, but if you're road racing it definately wouldn't hurt. Cheap insurance I think.
