    LS1 in a mustang

    Have you thought about running a big block crate engine, I think with the amount you would spend on a LS1 swap after it is all said and done. You could probably drop a 514 in the car and run 9's all day all engine, hook up some spray to that, and then my friend you would be untouchable.

    Plastic Polishing

    To get the yellow off plastic headlights I like to take some extra fine steelwool like 000 grade, take the steel wool to the headlights until they are scuffed up pretty good, then spray 3-4 coats of clear coat.

    run 275/35/18 on the front with a 9" wheel, and on the back run 335/35/18 on a 10.5 that's what I am running, looks pretty nice, and you can still manage a decent amount of traction if you get the right tread

    You know he is right, the 2000 cobra is not a dime a dozen at all. How many of you guys have seen a 2000 cobra? I never have I would bet that the trade in value on that would be very good.

    I went through allstate and my isurance is the same as if my car was a GT. Worked out pretty well I thought, they seem to consider all V-8 Mustangs the same.

    460 in a 2005 Mustang?

    Not to mention that with such a heavy engine up front you're going to lose most of your handling ability. The car will drive awkward, I think that your best bet would be to go with a first gen mustang if you want a 460, if you just want power from a new mustang just mod the heck out of the 4.6.

    the wheels and the air vents in the bumper bother me but other than that it is ok...what would bother me is if he had no engine upgrades...with that much done to the exterior...in my book to not be rice, he must be throwing down 320 rwhp..for every exterior upgrade there should be a performance...

    Hood scoops and side scoops ????

    I never really like the fake scoop on the 01+ GT's, you might as well tape a brick to the hood and sides of your car. Those scoops would seem to make the car less aerodynamic, the 99-00 Scoops never bothered me, I like the way that the accents look on the 05, the sides still look truly mustang...

    I think that Ford is trying to save money by putting on less expensive tires. Saving a few bucks on every mustang goes a long ways, and Ford has said they only want the MSRP to go up the standard inflation amount. Maybe it is just a way to keep the price tag down, and if you don't like the tires...

    They are two completley different cars that have a totally different class, and usually appeal to different people. If you want a 4 seater than you only have one choice, a mustang while usually appeal to the younger generation, and a C-5 to guys going through a mid-life crisis. Ultimatley it is...

    yeah I guess they don't make em I found em for the 4.6 liter but nothing for the 5.0 but anyway yeah I am thinking the supercharger will come first so yes at first I will be planning on running about 300 rwhp but other mods such as H/C/I and bolts ons will come eventually
