    oil pressure sending unit size

    the oil pres unit usually takes a 9/16. the only thing i can think of on the motor that takes that size is the heater tube to the lower intake. did you or someone just put the unit into the block it self? you have a pic of what you are trying to remove?

    New Altenator Wont Charge

    what connections did you hook up to this alternator? yeah sometime there will be a pin in the voltage regulator. this holds the brushes back until it is installed. when pulled the brushes will extend and make contact with commutator of the armature.

    Which oil pump pick-up for aftermarket pan and main support?

    i used the canton pickup on my pan that it came with. when i did mine, i just heated up the pickup and bent it to the needed clearence.

    it will be the negative side of the coil. on mine it is a green /w yellow stripe. or the wire on the right if you are standing in front of the car.

    when you get your new rings in, it should come with instructions and a chart /w formulas for reccomended gaps per application. i would just follow what they suggest.
