    When I did the first one I too was surprised that it was so tight when coming out that I put it back in and decided to quit and either get the removal tool or let a mechanic do it. Then I consumed 4 or 5 Miller lites and said @#%& it! , and went for it.

    I'm thinkin a warm to cool engine might be good. Why work on a hot engine, unless your in a huge rush.

    You should get new plugs for sure, they have been upgraded by Ford....... Motorcraft SP-514 $70. do it.

    Your 8 steps was pretty much exactly how I did it. I used a 1/2" drive ratchet with an 18" extention. You will need a 9/16th deep well socket. I put a rubber O ring up in the socket to grab the spark plug tip so it doesnt fall back in. Just go slow and steady with even pressure and you should be OK.

    Yes my friend there is a problem, but you wont have to worry about it for 50k miles from now :) thats the good news! The bad news is that the plugs can easily break off in the head during removal:(

    It would near imposible to raise the passenger seat, you would have to fabricate 4 new brackets, all different. A good machine shop could probably make it happen.

    door panel problem

    After reading this thread I went ahead and did my driver side door today with the Weldwood contact cement from HDepot. Came out near perfect except for 1 wrinkle in the back thats unnoticeable to anyone but me. Its harder than you may think, that stuff sets up really fast and is super tacky.

    Im running the Hankooks, about 12k on them and they still have about another 12k or 15k to go before I would want to replace them. They are awesome for the price. I never get more than 25k out of any summer performance tires........ and Ive tried them all.

    06 gt or 04 Termi...help!

    Id keep driving the 06. Beside the power advantage of the 04, all other catagories are won by the newer platform design. Ive owned a 99gt and an 04gt and now have an 06gt I was just very bored with the dated design. If the car is dedicated for drag racing then definatly get the Cobra.

    If theres times when you need to take or pick up 1 kid you can easily put a car seat up front in the Stang. When my kids were younger I drove a Maxima SE which was a blast to drive for a 4 door.

    Hot air coming from vents

    My 06 blows warmer air than the outside air temp when set to vent position. If its 70 degrees outside the vent air feels like its 80 degrees. this forces me to turn on the AC or crack the windows.

    Yeah, I tried going with nothing after the drop.... and 6k miles later had inside tire wear. But you should be good with only the Camber bolts. Heres mine with negative Camber before the bolts.

    Ive got the Eibach pro kit springs with only the Eibach Camber bolts. It is aligned to perfect specs, but near maxed out on adjustment.

    The GT500 control arms are Ford Racing. They are cheap and awesome. Look at the ones that AmericanMuscle has and read the reviews.

    Ive heard that the pressed in ball joints can crack the control arm or come loose later. It makes more sence to buy the GT500 arms $229. a pair than pay $$160. for the Steeda ball joints. and have to do more labor and end up with an inferior result.

    I just did mine with the GT500 control arms. The control arms have to come out anyway. These control arms are beefed up with stronger welds and dont cost much more and simple to install.
