    EGR to Manifold Connection - HELP PLS

    so much easier to delete it. im doing a bullitt intake swap and just deleted it. you will have to turn off the egr sensors with a tuner, but it makes the engine bay so much cleaner looking with all that crap gone. :nice:

    U would think so. Not sure why i'm only at 9psi. After my bullitt intake install, i think i'm going to pulley down to a 3.12 pulley. Maybe because everything is free flowing from intake to exhaust (headers/no cats) and with the intercooler eating some boost, thats the only reason i can think of...

    How did you plug your bung holes?

    my shop tapped and threaded the bungs and inserted a threaded barb in there and then just capped the barb. You could do it that way or just weld something over the bung.

    are u running blow thru or draw thru setup? u will also end up cutting the orig vortech discharge tube to make it fit

    cool. thanks for the help guys. maybe i wont pull it off then. there was just some surface rust or corrosion of some kind on the inside of the fuel rails and i was going to soak them in some of that evaporust stuff and see if it actually works.

    Vortech guys in here!

    Nice #'s. You have about the same setup as i did, except i have the PI heads,Bassani headers, and intercooler. My tuner must not know wtf he is doing, i'm barely cracking 400hp and thats in cool weather. But after my new intake, i'm driving about 500 miles to get it tuned correct, man i cant wait.

    yeah, i hear ya. I think the Nitto's actually do run a little smaller width than other companies. I think BFG actually has the largest 295's, which are almost about the same width as my 305's.

    In the middle of my bullitt intake swap and going to put on the bullitt fuel rails. My question is that rubber crossover hose that connects the two fuel rails in the back of the motor, is that removable? I tried pulling on it, and it doesnt budge.     Wierdness after changing IAC valve... did 50Resto send me the wrong part?

    yeah, that black cap is a venting cap. They quit having that i assume in 2002 because mine doesnt have that. But my bro's 2001 has it.
