    ok... I started with the rear window and I got it in this weekend. Now, the question is, when the window is in there (even with the nasty goop), the bottom of it seems loose... the rest of the window fits tight, but the bottom moves about 1/8" if you press on it (again, displacing the goop)...

    Yeah, but you had the tape on the headliner? Or not? I was worried about that because I was amazed how sticky this stuff was and almost impossible to clean up. I have some on the glass and its even hard to get off of there.

    Ok... last question folks... what adhesive to use? In the past I used the 3M spray on, but that can be a mess. Most sites say to use the 3M 08001 (yellow) that comes in a tube, which sounds much cleaner. Any other suggestions... I am going to start gluing this thing in TODAY!!!! (Yeah)

    Since I have the dynamat in place already (full coverage).... what do you think is best? The 1/4 foam headliner stuff, or the carpet type padding? What about the rear pillars? What goes over them? padding (to round out the edges)?

    That is kinda what the dynamat is... but its about 1/8" thick with a sticky tar substance that goes against the metal then an aluminum face to it that you are exposed to. It appears I will be adding some type of 'padding' to the dynamat that is there... I am just having a hard time discerning...

    Mine didnt have one in it when I bought it... but the only places it would apply are near the edges where that edge trim goes. Other than that, it gets no where near anything metal.

    I have a 90 8.8 in mine... did it for cost reasons, nothing else. I have a writeup on it on my cardomain site, but it was easy and I have 05 V6 wheels on it and it looks great! I also have 1.25" spacers to make everything fit great.

    Home depot has white and dark brown ones... I havent seen black ones, but I am sure they are out there. You might try mcmaster carr or something like that.
